About Me

My name is Ian. I'm a UNC student in Dr. A's Art of Persuasion Class. I am interested in writing because I believe that by understanding language you can understand people (I'm a psych major, can you tell?). Expression keeps us connected to others, and understanding how to write allows us to communicate (also a sociology major). I love to write everything from poetry, to essays, to research papers. I find actually sitting down and throwing words down on the page very difficult, hence I have taken several writing courses for my writing minor to get the pressure I need to write. I hope to some day be able to write without that pressure.
